How Could We Say No?
A puppy mill survivor out of
Quebec. Estimated to be 8 years old.
What all have you seen these many years with those faraway eyes???
It's time you saw so much more than the confines of an overcrowded space surrounded by things that
would haunt us if we knew.
Her name is Betsy.
She has a heart murmur.
There will be repair costs.
We were going to close our doors for a while in the hopes of replenishing our
funding.
But how could we say No to Betsy?
In these times. These terrible times.
Our shelters are overflowing and overcrowded with discarded
animals post-pandemic.
The Rescue Transport Volunteer Drivers have never
been busier madly arranging the safe delivery of the lucky ones to their Rescue destinations.
This is the harsh Reality. The backlash of the Pandemic.
But we won't give up.
We can't.
Beagles like Betsy deserve to know what it is to be cherished.
From the moment she leaned against me as far as her seatbelt
would allow and surprised me with a shy hopeful little kiss, she found out.
She found out what it is to be cherished.
From the moment her Foster Family embraced her for
the first time, she discovered it even more.
What it is to be cherished.
It only gets better from here, beautiful Betsy.
