"Freya"

There's no denying it's been a year of heartbreak for our little beagle repair shop but that's changing now…

with every new arrival, we feel that familiar tug.

That sense of purpose and that indescribable feeling of joy when we do what we're meant to do.

When we rescue a beagle in need.

Meet our newest heart mender…Freya.

At approximately 12 years old, Freya was found as a stray in Toronto.

She has a significant heart murmur, fractured teeth, and more than a few lumps.

She's our kind of girl.

And we love her to the moon and back already.

It's Thanksgiving and we are so thankful.

We're thankful for our kindred spirits at Toronto Animal Services for saving Freya first.

We're thankful for all of you for the support you give to make days like this possible.

And last but not least, we're thankful for Freya because Lord knows she's helping to mend our hearts.
